Lab notes

Ideas start small here, and we keep the ones people keep. These are short notes on what we shipped, changed and learned along the way, newest first.

  1. Update

Bil At! 1.3.3: the slice you hit sets the difficulty from the first shot

In Bil At! 1.3.3, the slice you hit on the board always sets the question's difficulty, from your very first shot. Ok Meydanı also gets a tidier round panel.

  2. Update

Bil At! 1.3.0: Ok Meydanı, a 3D archery range on the steppe

Bil At! 1.3.0 adds a second mode next to the trivia game: Ok Meydanı (“the archery field”). It is three rounds of archery on a 3D steppe: fixed targets (a tower of water jugs, a gourd and a puta, no wind), then swinging targets (hanging jugs, a sliding sled, lanterns and a far puta, in a strong wind), then flying plates and jugs until the arrows run out, in a light wind. You can play it by day or by night.

The camera sits behind the archer and moves in as you draw, so you aim with the arrow tip. A ribbon on the bow shows the wind. At full draw, time slows for a moment, a breath (nefes); hold it too long and the archer's arm tires. Hit a water jug and it topples and shatters.

Also in 1.3.0: a new main menu with both modes, a faster first launch and bug fixes.

  3. Update

    Bil At!'a bonus hedefler geldi

  4. Update

Bil At! 1.2.8: weekly Play Games leaderboard and clearer bonus targets

Bil At! now has a weekly leaderboard: you show up with your Play Games name and avatar, no separate account needed. Bonus targets show their reward while they fly, and a shot counts when your arrow passes through them.

  5. Update

Bil At! 1.2.7: bonus targets to shoot between questions

Bil At! now has bonus targets: a balloon, a water jug, a lantern or a kite drifts across between questions. Hit it and you get a reward, like an extra arrow or double points on the next question.

  6. Update

Bil At! store listing updated to be easier to find

Bil At! has a new Google Play title, "Bil At! Bilgi Yarışması", plus fresh short and full descriptions, so people searching for a trivia game ("bilgi yarışması") can find it more easily.

  7. Site

Tether Link Utility guide: how many devices can join an iPhone hotspot

The iPhone hotspot guide now answers how many devices can connect, with a checklist by symptom for when a new one won't join. It reads in all five site languages.

  8. Brand

Our YouTube channel is now Steadyline Labs

The channel is now @steadylinelabs, so videos for every app live in one place. The Tether Link Utility how-to videos are already there.

  9. Update

Bil At! gets its first updates from player feedback

The first players told us what felt off, so the next updates fix it. A reward now takes one ad, and the replay button and arrow counter are easier to read.

  10. Teaser

The little one in the lab card grew up a bit

The animated icon in the "Coming from the lab" card on the home page moved to its next stage. It keeps growing as the app does.

  11. Launch

Bil At! is live on Google Play

Bil At! is a quick-fire trivia game in Turkish: throw an arrow at a spinning board, and the number you hit picks the question. It went from first build to the store in under four weeks.

  12. Teaser

Fathom Pulse has a launch date

Fathom Pulse comes to Android and iOS on January 1, 2027. We would rather take the extra time than rush it.
